Job summary

Mears Group is seeking a Co-ordinator to support Tower Hamlets contract, planning and tracking works across voids, buy backs and disrepair cases. You will ensure information is shared with the right people and that works progress to timescales, keeping residents informed about schedules and access.

In this busy role you will collaborate with supervisors, operatives, subcontractors and the client, maintaining accurate records and supporting service targets with a professional, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Experience planning, scheduling or coordinating repairs and maintenance works.
• Experience in social housing or a similar property maintenance setting.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident using job management systems and Microsoft Office to maintain records.
• Clear communication with residents, tradespeople and clients.
• Calm, practical approach to problem solving and conversations.
• GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Experience coordinating voids, buy backs or disrepair works is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule operatives and subcontractors across voids, buy backs and disrepair works.
• Monitor each job from instruction to completion and escalate delays.
• Arrange appointments and provide updates to residents, client and colleagues.
• Track outstanding work and overdue tasks to keep records current.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and safety certificate collation.
• Keep planning and job management systems up to date.
• Liaise with supervisors and subcontractors to resolve scheduling issues.
• Support collection and recording of job information and completion evidence.
• Work with the team to meet targets and deliver a customer-focused service.
• Provide cover for other coordinators and attend meetings and training.
