Job summary

Mears Group is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor in Croydon to lead void and disrepair works across occupied and vacant properties. This role blends office oversight with field delivery, ensuring safety, quality and resident satisfaction while managing subcontractors and resources.

You will monitor compliance, drive improvements, and coordinate with clients, suppliers and teams to meet contractual targets and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing, monitoring, recording, and reporting Health & Safety and compliance activities.
• Experience in two or more trades and relevant trade qualifications.
• Full, valid UK driving licence and COSHH awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day void and disrepair works across vacant and occupied properties.
• Ensure works are safe, efficient, and delivered to required quality standards.
• Lead a team including subcontractors and coordinate with residents, clients and suppliers.
