Job summary

MMP Consultancy Limited is recruiting for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a Social Housing contractor on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong scheduling, planning, and customer service experience within housing maintenance, local authority, housing association, or contractor environments.

You will be responsible for managing operatives' diaries, scheduling repairs, and acting as a key point of contact for residents and contractors, ensuring works are completed

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English at Grade C/Level 4 or above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience using repairs and scheduling systems Connect, Northgate, and DRS.
• Strong administrative and data entry skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain operatives' diaries and schedules.
• Plan and coordinate pre-inspections, post-inspections, repairs, and emergency works.
• Prioritise emergency and urgent repair requests.
• Book appointments and allocate work to available operatives.
• Monitor jobs from booking to completion.
• Update records accurately and promptly.
• Liaise with tenants, operatives, and contractors to progress repairs.
• Attend team meetings and training as required.
