Job summary

Mears Group in Evesham is seeking a Contract Manager (Voids) to oversee all aspects of voids programmes, ensuring projects meet contractual commitments and company standards. You will manage budgets, KPIs, and stakeholder reporting while leading supervisors and branch teams to deliver high-quality voids maintenance.

A full, valid driving licence is required and role is office-based. Role includes driving responsibilities and office-based work with the chance to contribute to community

Qualifications

• Experience managing a void works contract within the social housing sector.
• Experience in budget management, performance reporting and people management in repairs/maintenance.
• Experience presenting contract performance to clients and internal stakeholders, and monthly reports.
• Good understanding of legislation relevant to social housing repairs and CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of operational and commercial delivery for void works programmes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Manage void works and high-risk properties from start to completion.
• Line manage supervisors and conduct performance reviews.
• Take ownership of KPIs, reporting and service delivery standards.
• Handle client queries and manage resident complaints.
• Support operatives and branch teams to achieve high-quality voids maintenance outcomes.
• Act as a designated key holder for the branch.
