Job summary

River Clyde Homes Group is seeking a Void and Aids & Adaptations Inspector to join our team in Greenock. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours) focuses on inspecting void properties and aids & adaptations to ensure standards are met, delivering a high level of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience (minimum two years) and a valid driving licence for site visits. Closing date: 12 Oct 2026, 10:00 BST; interviews 19 Oct 2026.

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Void Property and Aids & Adaptations Inspector. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of effective void property services and aids and adaptations works, helping ensure homes are ready to let and works are completed to the required standard.

About the Role

In this role, you will carry out a range of inspection duties across void properties and aids and adaptations works. You will help ensure void works are completed to the minimum lettable standard and that aids and adaptations works are delivered to specification, while providing a first-class customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

• A technical, property or surveying qualification is desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience for a minimum of two years
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience of delivering excellent customer service by responding promptly, professionally and efficiently.
• A full driving licence is essential with access to a vehicle.
