Cheshire College South and West, Macclesfield Campus, invites applications for a Vocational Trainer in Plumbing. You will coach, train and assess learners up to Level 3 in workplace and college settings, designing sequenced delivery to build knowledge, skills and behaviours.

The role includes supporting learner progress, ensuring timely apprenticeship achievement, and safeguarding pupils in line with college policies.

Qualificações

• Experience coaching and assessing learners up to Level 3 in plumbing.
• Ability to plan a sequenced delivery programme to build knowledge and skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
• Pre-employment screening including DBS compliance.

The Role

• Coach, train and Assess learners up to Level 3, in theworkplace and College environment;
• Planning a detailed sequenced programme of delivery to meet knowledge, skills and behaviours;
• Support learner progress through assessment and delivery of knowledge, skills and behaviours;
• Ensuring timely achievement of apprenticeship standards; and
• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons in line with college policies.

Main Duties for this role include

• Establish the appropriateness of the placement to ensure its relevance to the learning experience in conjunction with employers.
• Liaise closely with other tutors on the programme to ensure that the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) is closely monitored.
• Effectively co-ordinate and track on and off the job learning and assessment activities.
• Provide a structured and appropriate development journey for all apprentices.
• Undertake vocational assessments in the workplace.

£28,997 - £43,748 per annum depending on skills and experience pro rata
