Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Plumber to transition off the tools into education in Slough. The role offers a full training program, a Monday to Friday 37-hour week, and the chance to mentor Plumbing apprentices while building a long-term career in FE.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced Plumber looking to move off the tools and into a rewarding career where you can pass on your skills?

Do you want to work Monday to Friday, receive full training and development and build a long-term career in education while helping train the next generation of Plumbing apprentices?

In this role, you will work with a cohort of Plumbing apprentices, delivering a mixture of teaching, practical training, mentoring and assessment. You will use your industry experience to help learners develop their technical knowledge and practical skills, monitor their progress and support them throughout their apprenticeship.

The ideal candidate will be a Level 3 qualified Plumber with Plumbing & Heating and Gas experience. No previous formal teaching qualification is necessarily required for the right candidate, as full training and ongoing professional development can be provided. An assessor qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
