Abingdon and Witney College is seeking an experienced Plumbing and Heating lecturer/assessor to deliver practical and theory-based training at our Bicester Campus. You will teach level 3 apprentices in classrooms and workshops, and help learners develop essential workplace behaviours.

Any successful candidates will be required to complete a structured training pathway, unless they already hold the relevant qualifications. This includes a two-week teacher induction (must be completed within probation), followed by the Award in Education and Training (AET) including Assessor is required, and then the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher (LST) apprenticeship. Completion of this structured learning programme is expected within 3 years. Furthermore, there is the option to pursue Qualified Teacher Learning Status (QTLS).
