Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a part-time Business Service Assistant to help the office run smoothly and support a busy team. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, handling enquiries and ensuring efficient office operations.

The role focuses on service quality, accuracy, and proactive assistance to colleagues and external partners. You will assist with calendar management, bookings, cash handling and supplier communications, contributing to a welcoming visitor experience

Qualifications

Focus on giving great service to everyone you meet.
Well-organised and adaptable, able to manage changing tasks.
Comfortable using IT packages and standard office software.
Team player who can also work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations and handle internal and external enquiries.
Manage property phone, email systems and calendars for the team.
Work with a small team to coordinate group bookings, supplies, compliance and banking.
Build relationships with local supporters, contractors, suppliers and visitors.
