Job summary

WWT is seeking proactive individuals to join our retail team. You will welcome visitors warmly, help maximise sales and membership recruitment, and deliver exceptional customer service to support conservation work.

Based mainly in our retail shop, you will serve both members and non-members, keep the shop stocked, assist with optics sales, and work across visitor services and catering as needed. Full optics training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a team.
• Confident using an EPOS till system.
• Show creativity with visual merchandising.
• Exceptional customer service to engage visitors.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors in the retail shop and maximise sales and memberships.
• Keep the shop fully stocked and assist with optics sales.
• Work across visitor services and catering departments as needed.
• Be willing to work weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
