Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our in-store team. You will greet customers, listen to needs, and help them find the right eyewear while participating in pre-screening activities and the renowned Step Into Optics training programme.

Based in store and reporting to the store manager, you will assist with dispensing, eye-tests support, repairs and adjustments, and maintain shop floor standards while delivering excellent customer care.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care is essential.
• Desire to learn and develop in optics and retail.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
