Job summary

Specsavers is looking for a friendly Trainee Optical Assistant for the Newton Abbot store. You will be part of a team delivering exceptional customer service, while training in optics and store operations. No prior optics experience is required; you will be guided and developed in a supportive environment.

The role is part-time over weekends, with benefits including staff discounts, healthcare and pension contributions, and development opportunities as you progress in-store.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and assist with enquiries.
• Book in eye tests and pre-screen patients.
• Provide style advice and fit frames to customers.

You don't need to have previous Optics experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team, making sure every patient receives the best care in our stores.
