Job summary

Rangers Football Club is seeking a dedicated Visitor Experience Assistant to support the museum and gift shop at Edmiston House, Ibrox, Glasgow. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional visitor service, guiding tours, handling bookings and ensuring a high-quality experience for guests.

You will work with the Visitor Experience team to meet targets, learn Ibrox Tours content and develop product knowledge of the retail range while supporting day-to-day operations and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within a retail or heritage environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident engagement with visitors.
• Ability to handle enquiries and resolve issues calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional and welcoming visitor experience in person, by telephone and by email.
• Engage with visitors on the museum floor and during tours to enhance enjoyment of the collection.
• Sell tickets, discuss events and handle enquiries from visitors.
• Support the gift shop operations, including till sales, replenishment and stock checks.
• Process museum tickets using the SeatGeek system and follow cash handling procedures.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the museum, shop and tours areas.
