About the Role

We're looking for an experienced video editor to join our exciting team. You will be joining a rapidly growing agency, founded by Chris Donnelly, Nader Alnajjar & Thomas Pearce.

We're looking for the right person, not the right CV.

Responsibilities
  • Own video editing end-to-end across Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts based on high-level briefs.
  • Create engaging, high-quality edits built for retention with strong pacing, rhythm, sound design, cut selection and structure.
  • Develop motion graphics and text animation, producing premium graphics that feel custom, not templated.
  • Deliver polished final outputs with colour grading, sound mixing and other post‑production workflow.
  • Produce publication‑ready work that requires minimal revisions and is ready to publish to millions.
  • Support junior editors and freelancers by reviewing work informally, sharing insights and modelling excellence.
  • Elevate team performance by setting quality and efficiency standards that make the Strategy Director and Brand Manager’s job easier.
Qualifications
  • 2‑3+ years of demonstrated success editing high‑performing short‑form content.
  • Exceptional editor whose edits are premium, engaging and strategically sound.
  • Relentless attention to detail: polished cuts, crisp audio, smooth captions and professional finishing.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, expert in Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop with strong motion‑graphics skills.
  • Work independently with complete autonomy, requiring minimal feedback rounds.
  • Handle complexity with ease across multiple clients, styles and fast turnarounds.
  • Think several steps ahead, anticipating issues and suggesting improvements.
  • Thrive under pressure, staying calm and delivering quality work regardless of tight deadlines.
Compensation, Location, & Perks
  • Compensation: £32,000‑£38,000 with performance‑based increases based on tenure and quality of work.
  • Hybrid working model (office in London Bridge). You must be in London twice a week but we value flexibility.
  • Growth Opportunities: Opportunity to grow with the company, shape the video arm of the business, and perhaps even become a Senior Editor, or Head of Video.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

A Typical Day In The Life At Lever

You have a choice to work from home, or get up a little earlier to join us in our office in London Bridge. We do like our team to come in at least twice a week!

9am

The work day begins. You review briefs from the Strategy Director and Brand Managers across the agency. You’re given clear guidance on what’s needed, the goal of each piece and what “great” looks like for that client.

9:30am

You hop on a call with the wider team, discussing exciting company updates and setting goals for the week. You share an editing insight you noticed, a hook style, pacing structure or caption format that’s working across multiple clients.

10am

You align with a Brand Manager on priorities for the day. You confirm what needs turning around first, what formats are required and any specific creative direction. Then you organise footage, pull selects and start cutting your first edit.

11:30am

You continue editing, refining the cut, tightening the structure and adding captions and visual elements. You’re focused on quality, making sure each clip feels premium and performs well across platforms.

12pm

You move into your next edit, applying the same process across a different client style. You balance speed with high standards, keeping everything clean, on‑brand and consistent.

Lunch break! You grab food with the team.

1:30pm

You jump into a quick working session with the Strategy Director and Brand Manager to align on a client’s content direction. You make sure the edits match the strategy and the founder’s tone, then get back into production.

2pm

You work on motion graphics and text animation for one of your edits. Clean captions, subtle overlays and visual elements that feel premium and custom, not templated.

3pm

A Brand Manager pings you about a last‑minute request. A client needs a short form edit turned around quickly for an upcoming post. No problem. You pull selects, build the structure, and start cutting with a clear hook and strong pacing.

4pm

You review and polish your edits. Final captions, sound mix, colour pass and exports. You make sure everything is clean, consistent and ready to publish.

5pm

Final productivity push. You deliver the finished edits, organise files properly and queue everything up for review. Because you work closely with the team and follow clear guidance, feedback is minimal and edits move quickly.

5:30pm

You wrap up by organising tomorrow's priorities and checking that projects across pods are set up for success for the rest of the week.
