Job summary

URBN in Cheltenham is seeking a retail team member to support store management, uphold the VIBE philosophy, and deliver a positive customer experience across all store operations.

You will engage customers, assist with shipments, support merchandising, and contribute to a collaborative, standards-driven environment with a strong emphasis on training peers and providing exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is not required.
• Awareness of the Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market.
• Strong communication skills.
• Weekend availability – at least one weekend shift per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, friendly experience by engaging the customer through conversation and service
• Enhance the VIBE by focusing on customers during prime time selling hours
• Provide a store experience that reflects the Company's mystery shop standards
• Contribute to the VIBE in the store by being positive, respectful and helpful to others
• Uphold Company standards and act as a positive role model to peers
• Demonstrate proficiency in tills, shipment tasks, and fitting room guidelines
• Assist in processing new shipments and keep receiving/back stock clean and organized
• Complete weekly tasks (markdowns, re-tickets, transfers, RTVs) accurately and on time
• Observe loss prevention guidelines and inventory control measures
• Adhere to health & safety regulations
• Uphold merchandising and cleanliness standards
• Ensure merchandise is ticketed and floor is well stocked
• Assist in merchandising and display projects
• Stay aware of current product trends
