Job summary

The Veterinary Clinic in Erdington, Birmingham, part of inspiring vet care, is seeking a Receptionist to provide a welcoming, professional experience for clients and their pets.

You will manage appointments, handle enquiries, support client communications, and work with a team of vets and nurses to ensure a smooth patient journey. Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract; no prior animal experience required but empathy for animals is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with a friendly and professional manner.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy front-desk environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets clients and their pets, supporting the client and patient journey from registration to appointment management.
• Handles enquiries and insurance forms and other administrative tasks.
• Coordinates with vets, nurses and staff to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.
