Job summary

Inspiring vet care is seeking a Receptionist to join The Woodley Vet on a full-time fixed-term basis for 12 months. You will be the first point of contact for clients, welcoming pets and managing appointments, payments and client communications in a collaborative team.

The Woodley Vet offers a supportive environment with a focus on great client care, and a convenient location with parking, easy access to Reading and the M4.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to multitask in a busy vet reception environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
• Answering telephone calls and emails; responding to client enquiries efficiently and compassionately.
• Booking appointments and managing the appointment diary effectively.
• Processing payments and handling client accounts accurately.
• Supporting the clinical team with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
• Maintaining accurate client and patient records.
• Assisting with general administrative duties to support the wider practice team.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring every client feels valued and supported.
