Job summary

inspiring vet care in Reading is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join The Woodley Vets at Easipetcare on a full-time fixed-term basis for 12 months.

You will be the first point of contact, handle appointments, payments, client communications and support the clinical and non-clinical team to ensure a smooth and welcoming client and patient journey.

This role is based at The Woodley Vet, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service within a collaborative team environment.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Easipetcare, The Woodley Vets on a full-time fixed-term basis for 12 months.

The Woodley Vet is situated on the lovely Woodley precinct, with excellent links to central Reading and the M4. Located in a lovely area with convenient off-street parking nearby, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact within a collaborative and welcoming team.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
• Answering telephone calls and emails; responding to client enquiries efficiently and compassionately.
• Booking appointments and managing the appointment diary effectively.
• Processing payments and handling client accounts accurately.
• Supporting the clinical team with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
• Maintaining accurate client and patient records.
• Assisting with general administrative duties to support the wider practice team.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring every client feels valued and supported.
