Midhurst Vets in Midhurst is seeking a friendly part-time Receptionist to join our team. You’ll welcome clients and patients, manage appointments, and support daily front-desk operations in a busy veterinary practice.

We value clear communication, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while helping colleagues deliver outstanding care to pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front-desk or customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Comfort handling cash and daily banking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Book, cancel and update client appointments.
• Handle enquiries and maintain client records accurately.
• Process cash transactions and end-of-day banking tasks.
• Maintain station stock and participate in team meetings.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Midhurst Vets on a part-time permanent basis.

Our well-equipped practice features digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitoring, and laser therapy, giving you the tools to deliver excellent patient care

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You\’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

Rota:

• Thursday 8-6.30pm at Liphook
• Friday 8-6 Midhurst Vets
• Saturday rotation 1: 4 at Woodlands Midhurst

Key Responsibilities

• Booking, cancelling and changing appointments.
• Deal with cash exchanges and end of day banking procedures.
• Attend reception team meetings as and when requested.
• Keep client/patient records up to date.
• Check clinic emails and process appropriately.
• Ensure all daily paperwork completed.
• Maintain stock levels on a daily basis.
