Inspiring Vet Care in Portsmouth is seeking an organized receptionist to join our friendly team at Downland, Hilsea on a part-time permanent basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience while managing appointments and enquiries.

You'll work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to support patient journeys, uphold high hygiene standards and contribute to our culture of care and continuous learning.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Downland, Hilsea on a part-time permanent basis.

Join our dedicated team of veterinary professionals, comprising vets, nurses, student nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants and receptionists across East Sussex. We take pride in our commitment to continuous learning and development, with veterinary certificate holders in ECC and geriatric medicine and a strong culture of ongoing training. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• Mon - 13:30-19:00
• Tues - OFF
• Wed - OFF
• Thurs - 8am-13:30pm
• Fri - 13:30-19:00
• Sat - every other 8:30 - 13:00
• Total = 18.75 hours per week.
