inspiring vet care in the UK is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join Bishops Vets on a part-time basis. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, manage appointments, answer calls and emails, and support a small, welcoming team in delivering outstanding client care.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Bishops Vets on a part-time permanentbasis.

Bishops Veterinary Surgery is looking for a receptionist to fit in with our small, friendly team. The successful candidate will be proactive, caring, a good communicator, computer literate and keen to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

We are ideally looking for someone that would like to work part-time, up to 26 hours per week, which would be spread over 4 or 5 shifts per week. Our rota also includes some weekend work (Saturday mornings).

Key Responsibilities

The role includes serving clients in reception, answering the phones, attending to emails in a professional and timely manner and other general administrative duties including debt management.
