inspiring vet care is seeking a Receptionist at Riverside Veterinary Centre in Belper for a 6-month fixed-term role. The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly with one in three Saturdays required, supporting a busy animal clinic with friendly, professional client care.

You will manage appointments, handle enquiries, and assist with operations to ensure a smooth client and patient journey within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
• Answering telephone calls and handling client enquiries.
• Booking and managing appointments efficiently.
• Providing information on services and appointment processes.
• Handling pre-authorisations and insurance claims.
• Taking payments and managing financial transactions.
• Completing daily administrative tasks.
• Maintaining a clean, fresh, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
• Relaying client queries to veterinary surgeons and nurses, and responding appropriately.
• Supporting ongoing client communication and follow-ups.
