Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Receptionist for Riverside Veterinary Centre in Belper. This full-time, fixed-term role handles front-desk duties, client communications, and reception operations to ensure a welcoming experience for pets and their owners.

You will manage appointments, enquiries, and payments while collaborating with clinical and non-clinical teams to support a smooth client and patient journey.

Qualifications

• Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Riverside Veterinary Centre on a full time fixed-term basis for 6 months.

Riverside Vets is a well-established, single-site small animal practice in Belper, with an exciting future ahead. Our team includes veterinary surgeons, RVNs, an SVN, receptionists and a practice manager. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• Working 40 hours per week
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
