Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a friendly receptionist for Acorn Vets on a full‑time or part‑time permanent basis. The role involves welcoming clients, managing appointments, and supporting both sites with a collaborative team.

The Hove practice is on Portland Road, with a branch in Hangleton, and a diverse team of veterinary staff. This is a role offering flexibility, development, and a welcoming workplace in a seaside city with excellent transport links.

Qualifications

• Friendly, organised and customer‑focused individual.
• Experience in a customer‑facing role with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent experience to all patients and customers.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors.
• Book, cancel and change appointments; follow up treatment as needed.
• Answer general administrative questions and direct to the appropriate party.
• Process and record payments.
• Dispense medications/prescriptions.
• Keep client/patient records up to date.
