Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly receptionist for its two-site practice. The role covers welcoming clients, managing appointments, and supporting both clinical and non-clinical teams across Portland Road and the Hangleton branch in Brighton.

Flexible full- or part-time hours with one in four Saturday mornings are expected. You will handle inquiries, payments, and client communications while ensuring a smooth patient journey and accurate records across sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent experience to all patients and customers.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors.
• Answer the telephone in a professional manner.
• Greet visitors in a friendly manner.
• Booking, cancelling and changing appointments, and follow up treatment as needed.
• Answer general administrative questions or direct them to the appropriate party.
• Deal with some admin responsibility.
• Quickly resolve issues related to phone, emails or paperwork.
• Processing and recording payments.
• Dispensing medications/prescriptions.
• Keeping client/patient records up to date.
