Job summary

Medivet is seeking a receptionist to be the first point of contact for client calls and visits. You will manage the clinic front desk, handle appointments, triage emergencies, answer calls, and support the Medivet Healthcare Plan.

The role involves maintaining a welcoming reception area, processing prescription orders, and assisting in a small team to deliver excellent client and patient care at the Newtownabbey clinic.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer facing and reception skills.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a small team and deliver exceptional care to clients and patients.
• Prioritise workload with a range of tasks; good numeracy skills.
• Administration skills and experience.
• Experience using online appointment booking systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate the clinic reception, greet clients and manage their appointments.
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages.
• Triage emergencies and see-on-the-day appointments where needed.
• Process repeat prescription orders and maintain front-of-house areas.
• Diary management to align appointments and online booking availability.
• Promote the Medivet Healthcare Plan and assist with sign-up documentation.
• Ensure compliance with clinic standards and policies.
