Job summary

Medivet Group in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. You will handle phone calls, greet patients, manage appointments, and support repeat prescription requests, ensuring smooth front-of-house operations.

You'll work as part of a small clinic team, prioritising tasks, maintaining accurate records, and upholding standards of care and compliance while delivering excellent service to clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer facing and reception skills.
• Able to build relationships with clients, remaining calm under pressure.
• Able to work as part of a small team and deliver exceptional care.
• Prioritise workload with good numeracy and experience using online appointment booking systems.
• Administration skills & experience.

Responsibilities

• Operation of the clinic: triage emergencies, manage on the day appointments, contact clients for alternatives.
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages; greet clients on arrival and manage appointments.
• Keep front of house clean and tidy; process repeat prescription requests.
• Manage the clinic diary to align with diary management best practice and online booking availability.
• Be an advocate of the Medivet Healthcare Plan (MHP) and manage related documentation.
• Comply with standards and agreed ways of working in the clinic.
