Jobtailor is seeking a friendly veterinary receptionist to join a busy practice in Gravesend. You will greet clients, manage the diary, handle telephone queries and support a multidisciplinary team.

Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable, with flexibility and a willingness to learn. Experience using online booking systems is preferred and you should be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greet clients on arrival, and update records.
• Triage the impact of emergency appointments, contact clients, and rearrange as needed.
• Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability according to team skillset.
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages.
• Ensure appointment slots are available for online booking.
• Process repeat prescription order requests.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Participate in a 1 in 4 weekend rotation.
• Provide a fair share of Bank Holiday cover at Medivet Dartford Hospital.
• Work alongside a larger multidisciplinary team and gain exposure to a diverse caseload.
