We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Mildmay Veterinary Hospital.

Location: Winchester

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part-time

Shift Pattern: Tuesdays from 8am - 2pm, Thursdays 2 - 6pm, and alternate Saturdays from 8am - 4.30pm.

About the role:

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

1. Answering phones and booking appointments
2. Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
3. Registering new clients
4. Completing insurance forms
5. Dispensing medications
6. Taking payments
7. Providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

• A passion for great customer service is essential; veterinary experience is a plus!
• Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
• An excellent communicator with strong empathy
• Excellent customer service skills and experience dealing with the public
• A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management systems
