An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our small but growing team at Cherry Tree Veterinary Practice Ltd. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated team member who is client care focused to build good relationships with our clients while working alongside our vets and nurses to provide a friendly yet professional service.

Duties will include:

1. Welcoming clients and answering phones
2. Responding to emails
3. Appointment bookings
4. Taking payments
5. Administrative duties
6. Ensuring the reception area is kept clean and tidy

We are a small, thriving first opinion practice located in the charming village of Lane End. Situated in a picturesque 1900 building for over 10 years, we have a strong and growing client base. Having many clients from the beginning allows us to provide a friendly and homely environment for clients and their pets.

Are you the perfect fit?

The successful candidate should have reception experience, ideally within the veterinary sector, though this is not essential as additional training will be provided. A professional manner, the ability to remain calm and confident in emotionally charged or stressful situations, good computer literacy, and strong organizational skills are essential. The ability to multi-task effectively, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team is also required.

Your shift pattern

You will work 30 hours per week on a rota basis, covering reception between 8:15 am - 7:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday cover may be required.
