Do you have a passion for excellent customer service and enjoy working with animals? Rowe Veterinary Group is looking for a receptionist to join our small and friendly practice in Thornbury. As a valued member of the reception team, you will be the first point of contact for pets and their owners.
The ideal candidate will be professional and efficient with a welcoming and sympathetic manner. They will have excellent customer service skills, proficient knowledge of IT, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a love of animals.
We're seeking a friendly, professional individual to join our team. Your responsibilities will include greeting clients warmly, booking, cancelling, and amending appointments, and handling queries via phone, email, or face-to-face. You will advise clients on preventative healthcare products, promote Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance, and dispense medications and prescriptions as needed. Additional duties involve taking payments, cashing up, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth practice operations.
This role involves 26 hours per week with the following schedule: Tuesday 8 am - 2 pm, Wednesday 1:30 pm - 7:30 pm, Thursday 1:30 pm - 7:30 pm, Friday 8 am - 2 pm, and 1 or 4 weekends per month working 8 hours on either Saturday or Sunday.
