We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as aVeterinary Receptionist at Buchanan Veterinary Group.

Location:Monton site

Contract:6Month Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave

Hours:40hours per week

Shift Pattern:Monday – Friday with a share in the Saturday rota

About the role:

Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

·Answering phones and booking appointments

·Responding to queries via phone, in person and email

·Registering new clients

·Completing insurance forms

·Dispensing medications

·Taking payments

·And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

• Previous Receptionist experience is essential

• Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
• An excellent communicator with strong empathy
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
• A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
