inspiring vet care in South Wales is seeking a Receptionist for the Abertillery site, 4 days a week 8.30am-7pm with 1:4 Saturdays 9am-6pm. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience while handling appointments and enquiries.

You will work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth client and patient journey, take payments, answer calls, bookings, and maintain a tidy reception environment.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at South Wales Vets on a full-time permanent basis.

South Wales Vets is a four-branch small animal practice located across South Wales at Abertillery, Blackwood, Risca and Newport. This role is based at our Abertillery site.

Our Practice is within a short drive of the Brecon Beacons, perfect for outdoor activities, hiking and exploring the beautiful countryside. We are also around 30 minutes from Cardiff.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

• 4 days per week, 8.30am to 7pm , 1:4 Saturdays 9am to 6pm
