Job summary

CVS Vets in Caterham is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to manage calls, appointments, greet clients, handle insurance forms, dispense medications, and process payments, all while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a receptionist required, veterinary setting is a bonus.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Respond to queries via phone, email, and in-person interactions with professionalism.
• Greet and register new clients, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Process and manage insurance forms adeptly.
• Dispense medications as required.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Provide empathy and understanding to clients during distressing times, while maintaining professionalism.
• Organise patients using the in-house system efficiently.
• Liaise with veterinary practices to address patient needs and queries.
• Make necessary phone calls regarding debts, belongings, and refunds.
• Ensure that every client feels welcomed and valued at our practice.
