Job summary

The Royal Veterinary College in Potters Bar is seeking an experienced Client Services Co-Ordinator to join our Claims Team. You will process insurance claims accurately and provide clear, compassionate support to clients throughout their claims journey while assisting our client-facing team during patient admission and discharge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a client-facing role, ideally within healthcare or veterinary setting.
• Strong administrative skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Desirable: experience in insurance claims handling.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to discuss sensitive topics with empathy and discretion.
• Highly organised and diligent with ability to manage a high workload and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process insurance claims efficiently within agreed service levels.
• Review veterinary invoices, clinical notes and medical histories.
• Handle and accurately process client and patient information.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
• Manage incoming calls and emails.
• Process card and cash payments.
