Job summary

Medivet Worthing is seeking a compassionate Client Care Assistant to join our busy veterinary practice. You will be the first point of contact, delivering warm, professional service to clients and their pets while supporting daily reception and administrative tasks.

You will work closely with veterinary surgeons and nurses, manage bookings, handle inquiries, and help promote preventative care plans. Previous veterinary reception experience is desirable but not required, with training provided.

• Confident using computers and learning new systems.
• Calm and professional in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greeting clients on arrival, and updating records.
• Triage emergency appointments and rearrange as needed.
• Manage the practice diary to optimize appointment availability.
• Answer client calls and manage messages.
• Ensure online booking slots are available.
• Process repeat prescription orders.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality care.
