Job summary

Medivet is seeking a Client Care Assistant to be the first point of contact for client calls and visits, delivering exceptional care to clients, patients and colleagues. You will handle reception duties with a warm, professional approach and support booking and records using our online system.

The role is full-time (40 hours over 5 days). You will work as part of a friendly practice team and, on weekends, support the 24H hospital at Richmond on a 1-in-4 rotation plus two bank holidays per year.

Qualifications

• Exceptional client facing care.
• Good numeracy and experience with online booking.
• Team player who can work under pressure.
• Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greet clients, and update records.
• Triage emergencies, contact clients and rearrange appointments.
• Manage diary to optimise available appointments.
• Answer client calls and manage messages.
• Ensure online booking slots are available for clients.
• Process repeat prescription orders.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• 40 hours over 5 days a week.
• Support the 24H hospital at Richmond on weekends (1 in 4) and two bank holidays per year.
