Job summary

Vets for Pets in Llanelli is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our practice. The role focuses on delivering outstanding client service, coordinating appointments, and supporting the clinical team with a welcoming atmosphere for pets and their families.

You will manage payments and bookings while maintaining smooth daily operations. This part-time position (20 hours weekly) runs 2pm–7pm, Monday to Thursday, and requires comfort with our online booking system and computerised workflow.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent client service and support to the clinical team.
• Build strong relationships with clients, pets and staff.
• Greet clients and handle payments and future bookings confidently.
• Be proficient with our online booking system and office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and care to clients and their pets, acting as the link to the clinical team.
• Help maintain a welcoming, calm, and helpful environment for all clients and their pets.
• Assist with payments, bookings and daily payments processing.
• Assist in coordinating day-to-day practice operations using the online booking system.
