Job summary

Vets for Pets in the WF17 9AD area is seeking a friendly receptionist to be the welcoming face for clients and their pets. You will greet visitors, assist with bookings and payments, and ensure the practice runs smoothly using our online booking system. This full-time role is 40 hours per week with a 1 in 3 weekend rota.

Shifts vary from early to late hours (7am–10pm). We value computer literacy, a calm attitude, and a passion for animal care, and offer a 20% discount, pension, and holiday

Qualifications

• Must be the friendly, welcoming face for clients and their pets.
• Ability to guide clients by keeping up-to-speed with practice services.
• Calm, attentive, and focused on client needs.
• Enthusiasm and love of pets to drive service quality.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets and provide guidance.
• Manage payments and future bookings confidently.
• Coordinate day-to-day routines using our online booking system.
