Job summary

Vets for Pets Bristol Kingswood is seeking a friendly part-time receptionist to join our small animal practice. You will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, handling bookings, payments, and inquiries while supporting the clinical team.

Working 30 hours per week across Monday to Friday and one Saturday morning every five weeks, you will help maintain a welcoming, efficient front desk and contribute to delivering outstanding client service.

Qualifications

Customer service and reception experience required.
Friendly and welcoming presence for clients and their pets.
Calm, attentive and client-focused with multitasking ability.
Willingness to learn practice services to advise clients.
Ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy.

Responsibilities

Provide an exceptional service to clients and care for their pets as the link between clients and clinical team.
Greet clients and their pets, offering support, guidance, and expertise.
Manage cash and card payments confidently.
Book appointments and keep the diary up to date.
Answer phone calls and email enquiries from clients.
Assist the clinical team in dispensing medication.
Keep reception and consulting areas clean and well presented.
