Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking an experienced Receptionist for our Fishguard Practice, with occasional cover at Haverfordwest & St David’s. You will be the friendly first contact, handling appointments, client queries and payments while supporting the clinical team.

We value a proactive, patient-focused approach and teamwork across practices. The role offers a varied schedule with weekend rota cover and opportunities for career development within a supportive veterinary group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer care to clients and patients in a calm, friendly manner.
• Manage bookings, collect client details and update the Practice Management System daily.
• Register new clients, maintain confidentiality and handle payments.
• Assist with prescription retrieval and routine care administration.
• Support debt reporting and routine insurance claims handling.
