Job summary

Oak Veterinary Group in Fishguard is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join the Reception/Support Team, with occasional cover at Haverfordwest & St David’s Practices. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience to clients and patients.

The role supports the Clinical Team and clients, handling appointments, enquiries, data capture, payments and routine administration. A full-time rota includes early/late shifts and Saturday duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to help colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer care for clients and patients.
• Oversee bookings, capture client data and maintain the PMS.
• Process client payments and manage registration and confidentiality.
• Support prescription preparation and routine queries.
• Assist with stock management and maintenance of waiting areas.
