Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough to recruit a Primary Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting October half term 2026. The role involves teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with planning and resources provided by the school.

You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic and social development, and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment. ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Able to teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Adaptable and able to settle into different classrooms quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within the same primary school.
• No lesson planning required - planning and resources provided by the school.
• Deliver engaging lessons using the school's existing planning.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff.
• Follow school safeguarding procedures and behaviour expectations.
