Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Supply Teacher for Wellingborough and surrounding areas, offering flexible day-to-day, short-term and longer-term assignments across KS1 and KS2. You will deliver engaging lessons, maintain inclusive classrooms, and adapt to different schools while supporting pupils' learning and development.

Ideal candidates hold QTS (or equivalent) and have experience in UK primary schools with strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in UK primary schools.
• Knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Ability to teach across KS1/KS2.
• Commitment to safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with curriculum expectations.
• Provide effective cover across KS1 and KS2.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt quickly to different schools and pupil needs.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Differentiate learning and support pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Provide feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.
