Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is actively recruiting enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work across Derby and Derbyshire. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term, and long-term opportunities in welcoming primary schools.

You'll deliver lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, follow plans or deliver pre-prepared lessons, and help create positive learning environments while adhering to safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Follow school planning or deliver pre-prepared lessons where required.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Ensure safeguarding and school policies are adhered to at all times.
