Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join a network of welcoming primary schools in Wellingborough as a full-time supply teacher. The role offers an immediate start and focuses on teaching without planning or marking responsibilities, with lessons delivered from pre-planned schemes across EYFS-KS2.

You will support pupils, maintain a positive classroom environment, and report to the class teacher.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential for eligibility.
• Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable.
• Able to build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff.
• Available to work Monday-Friday, approx. 8:30am-3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Keep pupils engaged, motivated and supported throughout the day.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and effective classroom management.
• Make appropriate adjustments to lessons to meet pupils' needs.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.
• Provide feedback to the class teacher.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, teaching assistants and staff.
• Follow school safeguarding procedures and policies.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and school settings.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.
