Job summary

Phantom Peak in London is seeking an experienced Venue Operations Manager to lead the build and opening of our new Stratford City site. You will recruit and empower front-of-house and operations teams, set up safe, efficient daily operations, and partner with creative, performance and events teams to deliver an immersive guest experience.

• Significant operational management experience in a busy visitor attraction, entertainment venue, leisure operation or similar high-volume environment.
• Commercially minded with budget management experience.
• Hands-on leader with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational setup of the venue ahead of opening.
• Recruit, training and manage front-of-house and operational teams.
• Take overall responsibility for safe, efficient and successful daily operations.
• Oversee guest experience, food & beverage, merchandise and venue facilities.
• Manage staffing budgets, operational costs and commercial performance.
• Work closely with our creative, performance and events teams to ensure a seamless immersive experience.
• Act as senior duty manager and, once licensed, Designated Premises Supervisor.

Salary: £50,000 per annum

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Venue Operations Manager to help bring it all to life.

You'll be joining us at an exciting time, helping to build the team, shape the operation and get everything ready for opening. Once the doors open, you'll be at the heart of making sure everything runs brilliantly, both behind the scenes and for our guests.

What you'll be doing

About you

You'll have significant operational management experience within a busy visitor attraction, entertainment venue, leisure operation or similar high-volume environment.
You'll be commercially minded, confident managing teams and budgets, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment.

You'll understand how to balance exceptional guest experiences with strong commercial performance, ensuring the venue operates efficiently, safely and profitably.

Above all, you'll be a visible, hands-on leader who enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences.

A Personal Licence is desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate must be willing and able to obtain one as part of the role.
