Job summary

Hawk Hiring’s Weston-super-Mare workshop is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a respected independent team. You will perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs with modern tooling and a strong emphasis on safety and first-time fixes.

You’ll work Mon-Fri 08:00–17:00, with weekends free, a salary of £35,000–£40,000, and ongoing training within a supportive multi-site network. You’ll have dedicated career progression and access to advanced diagnostic equipment, with the backing of

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• MOT Tester licence preferred but not required.
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, tyre replacement and braking system maintenance.
• Utilise up-to-date diagnostic tools to fault-find and resolve issues.
• Maintain high-quality first-time fix results while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Work productively to complete repairs accurately and keep the workshop operating smoothly.
• Collaborate with a team of technicians to uphold fast, reliable service.
