Hawk Hiring in Bridgend is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic for a clean, well-equipped site-based role. The position offers a £35,000–£40,000 basic salary within a £35k–£45k package, Monday–Friday hours, and progression opportunities.

You will perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on various makes and models, maintaining high safety and quality standards while contributing to a structured workshop culture.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• F-Gas certification is preferred, or interest in obtaining it.
• Full UK driving licence is essential; MOT Tester licence preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and general mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles.
• Perform diagnostic tests and systematic troubleshooting to locate and resolve issues.
• Maintain high standards of efficiency, safety, and first-time fix quality.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure smooth repair flow and safety compliance.
