Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic near Tewkesbury in a modern independent service centre. You will service vehicles, run diagnostics, and perform repairs with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

The role offers a Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 schedule with no weekend shifts, ongoing professional training, and a supportive workplace. You will work with up-to-date equipment in a respectful team environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence; MOT Tester licence preferred.
• Own hand tools; reliable, self-motivated with good attention to detail.
• F-Gas certification preferred or interest in obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, safety inspections, component replacements and repairs across a wide range of makes and models.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and scanners to troubleshoot faults efficiently.
• Deliver high-quality first-time fix results to maintain the workshop's reputation.
• Work collaboratively with a skilled technical team to keep operations safe and smooth.
